Himachal employees working in Jammu and Kashmir will get leave to cast their votes

Himachal Assembly Election 2022: In view of the Himachal Pradesh assembly elections, the Jammu and Kashmir government has taken a big decision. According to the order of the General Administration Department, the people of Himachal who are living in the state will be given leave on the day of voting, whose money will not be deducted.

The department said in the order that under the provision of 135-B of the Representation of the People Act, 1951, the government employees, semi-government and industrial workers of Himachal who are working in Jammu and Kashmir will get this leave. Voting for the 68-member Himachal Assembly is to be held on November 12, while the results will be out on December 8.

Congress preparation

Congress released its manifesto for the Himachal Pradesh Assembly elections on Saturday (November 5). The party has promised old pension scheme, 300 units of free electricity and 10 crore ‘startup funds’ in each constituency.

At an election rally in Sundernagar in Mandi district, PM Modi said, “This time Himachal elections are special because every vote cast on November 12 is not just for the next five years, but it is the development of the state for the next 25 years.” Will define the journey.
