Who is Oshin Sharma, why is she in the news
Oshin Sharma, a 32-year-old administrative officer of Himachal Pradesh, is in the news these days. Oshin Sharma is very active on different social media platforms. She has more than eight lakh followers on many platforms. Local politicians and senior administrative officers are not happy with Oshin Sharma being so active on social media. Now due to this, Oshin Sharma is in the news because of her transfer. No senior officer of the Himachal government has commented on why she has been transferred, nor has it been told why she has not been given any posting till now.

Mandi Deputy Commissioner’s office and some media reports said that social media star lady officer Oshin has been transferred on administrative grounds as her work was not satisfactory. Himachal Pradesh government has transferred Sharma, who was working as Tehsildar in Sandhol, and without assigning her any specific station, she has been directed to report to the Personnel Department in Shimla.
Shimla government officer Oshin Sharma is very popular on Instagram and keeps sharing her reels. Oshin has become an Insta celebrity due to her reels. But lady officer Oshin Sharma has recently been transferred which has become a topic of discussion.
Why did the transfer happen? The reason is not known.
Oshin Sharma, originally from Bharmour in Chamba district, lived in Dharamshala. She joined the Himachal Pradesh Administrative Service in January 2022. During the interview, Oshin had told that earlier she had no intention of joining the civil services, she wanted to become a journalist.
After the review, the DC of Mandi reportedly expressed dissatisfaction over the work of Oshin Sharma. Seeing many shortcomings, the DC issued this notice and sought a reply from Oshin. At the same time, Oshin has refused to comment on the alleged reports related to his unsatisfactory work.
