New Delhi. The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) carried out a major operation on Tuesday and carried out search operations at about 50 locations in seven states. According to CBI sources, this search operation is related to corruption related to constable recruitment in Himachal Pradesh. During the search operation, very important evidence and documents have been seized by the CBI team.
According to CBI sources, on December 30 last year, the agency had registered two FIRs in the police recruitment scam case in Himachal Pradesh on the recommendation of the Himachal Pradesh Governor. This police recruitment exam was held on 27 March 2022, but the question paper was leaked even before the exam. According to CBI sources, the police recruitment exam was held on March 27, 2022. At the same time, conversations related to money transactions between many students and some middlemen came to the notice of the police. After that information was collected from many informers in this matter, then the senses of the police officers were also blown away because those police officers came to know that the question paper has been sold for lakhs of rupees even before the examination.
Therefore, considering the seriousness of the matter, an FIR was registered in Kangra’s Gaggal Police Station regarding this matter, but as the scope of the investigation progressed, many important revelations came to light. In fact, the local police team suddenly called and interrogated the three candidates who had scored very well in the exam, all three students had scored 70 out of a total of 90 marks.

However, when the results of his 10th and 12th examinations were seen, it was found that he was a very ordinary student. At the same time, when the police personnel were strictly interrogated, those three students broke down and told the whole story that they had bought those question papers before the examination by paying seven to eight lakh rupees. Therefore, looking at the seriousness of the matter and the future of the deserving youth, the Governor had recommended a CBI inquiry into the matter for further investigation.
During the CBI investigation, the role of other accused including many middlemen has come to the fore, who are originally from Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Delhi, Haryana. For this reason, the CBI has carried out a large-scale search operation and is rapidly expanding the scope of investigation in this case, because in the investigation of the CBI, it has also come to the fore that some accused in these states organized a conspiracy in an organized manner. By doing this, question papers of many examinations are leaked.
