During this, a procession of Barawafaat was taken out.
Black bands were seen outside the houses of the people of the Hindu community. It is worth mentioning that two days ago in the suburb Sanganer, some people pelted stones at the Ganesh Pandal, due to which the atmosphere became tense. Last night also, people of the entire Hindu community surrounded the police post demanding action and some demands, no agreement could be reached till late night.
The entire Hindu community decided that they will not observe the festival of the other side. Due to this, they went to Kali Mandir this morning, where they performed Bhajan Kirtan and a community feast was organized.
On the other hand, the Barawafaat procession was taken out in closed markets and deserted streets under strict police surveillance. Unlike every year, no one was seen to see the procession this time. Only the police and people from the Muslim community were seen there.
Former councilor Raju Jangid has said that the entire Hindu society has decided that it will no longer observe the festival of the other side. Due to this, today the people of the entire Hindu society have come out of their homes and celebrated Kali Mangri. Whereas, they only put black bands outside their homes to protest.
