Home Minister Amit Shah gave this big message to the world on terrorism spread in India through Pakistan.

New Delhi : Addressing the concluding conference of Interpol going on at Pragati Maidan in Delhi, Home Minister Amit Shah targeted Pakistan by naming it. Home Minister Amit Shah gave a big message to the world on terrorism spread in India through Pakistan. Without taking the name of the neighboring country, he targeted it and said that the conspiracy to spread bigotry in the country should not be seen from political point of view, but from the problem of terrorism of the country.

The Home Minister, without naming Western countries, said that the definition of terrorism should be uniform and the incident of terrorism should not be looked at as big or small, but on the assessment of the threat of terrorism. This is a big threat to the integrity of the country.

The Home Minister said that if we want to stop the crimes and criminals of today’s era, then we have to think above the conventional geo-graphic border. ‘Cross-border cooperation’ is very important to fight ‘cross-border terrorism’. All countries have to agree on the definition of ‘terrorism’ and ‘terrorist’. Commitment to fight against terrorism together and ‘Good Terrorism, Bad Terrorism’ and ‘Terrorist Attack – Big or Little Narrative’ cannot go together.

He said that it is also necessary to build consensus on the challenge of ideology of terrorism being spread from cross-border by online radicalization. We cannot consider this problem as a political problem. INTERPOL should take initiative towards creating a permanent mechanism to establish a ‘real-time information exchange line’ between counter-terrorism and anti-narcotics agencies of all member countries. Interpol should prepare a ‘future plan’ for the next 50 years on the basis of its experiences and achievements of the last 100 years.
