Honor Killing: The in-laws killed the son-in-law, married the girl after driving away 2 years ago

Shivpuri. A sensational case of honor killing has come to light in Shivpuri district of Madhya Pradesh. This heart-wrenching case is related to Karera. Here a son-in-law was brutally murdered by his in-laws. The accused fled after the murder. The victim of the murder and the accused are residents of the same village. This young man had run away and married a girl living in his neighborhood in the village itself. Police have arrested one accused by registering a murder case against seven people in this regard.

Shivpuri Superintendent of Police Rajesh Chandel said that Dhiru Jatav, a resident of Machavali village of Karera, had fallen in love with Chhaya, a girl from his own village. He was her neighbor. In the year 2020, Dhiru and Chhaya ran away from home. He moved to Ahmedabad city of Gujarat. There both got married in the court. After marriage, both of them also had a daughter. Everything was going well.

The young man came to the village after two years with his wife
After 2 years passed, the boy expected that the anger of Chhaya’s family would have subsided. So he came to his village with his wife Chhaya and daughter Naira to celebrate this Diwali. In the preliminary investigation of the police, it came to light that Chhaya’s family members caught sight of him in Machavali village. They surrounded Dhiru. Later, he was fatally attacked with the butt of the gun and the axe.

Police arrested one accused
Dhiru died in the attack. After that the accused fled from there. After getting information about the incident to the police, prompt action has been taken in this matter. Police have registered a case against seven people in this case. One accused has also been arrested. The remaining accused are being intensively searched. Police claim that other accused will also be caught soon.
