Hyderabad received the International Green City Award 2022, KCR expressed happiness, CM KCR congratulated

New Delhi. Hyderabad has received two international level awards. Hyderabad has received the International ‘Green City Award 2022’. Along with this, a category award has also been given. Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao has expressed happiness over the city of Hyderabad receiving the prestigious ‘AIPH’ award from ‘International Association of Horticulture Producers’. On the occasion of Hyderabad winning the International ‘Green City Award 2022’ and ‘Living Green for Economic Recovery and Inclusive Growth’ award, CM KCR congratulated Town and Urban Development Minister KT Rama Rao, Special Chief Secretary Arvind Kumar and GHMC employees.

He said that these international awards have further strengthened the prestige of Telangana and the country. He said that these international awards are proof that the state government is vigorously implementing the ‘Haritha Haram’ urban development program which is giving green fruits to the country. It is a matter of pride that Hyderabad is the only city in India that has been selected for this international award, which is competing with the cities of the world.

India is proud to be on the green platform of the world
CM KCR said that the efforts being made by the state government through Harita Haram and the positive environmental policies being adopted have made not only Telangana but also India proud on the green platform of the world. He said that this is something that the whole world should be proud of.

Green Telangana will lead to green India: KCR
On this occasion, CM KCR called upon the people, public representatives and officials of Telangana to continue working towards building a Green India by making the state a more green Telangana.
