Meanwhile, an incident which created a ruckus in the puja festival has come to the fore in Hyderabad, where two women wearing burqa entered the Durga Puja pandal and tried to break the idols. In this case, the Central Zone Police of Hyderabad has arrested both the women. The incident is being told of Tuesday. According to the report published in TOI, C. Rajesh Chandra, Central Zone DCP of Hyderabad Police said, “Saifabad Police was called from some people that two women wearing burqa entered the pandal of Navratri festival in Chintal Basti, Khairatabad and Trying to break the idol. As soon as the information was received, the police reached the spot and both the women who allegedly broke an idol of Goddess Durga in the pandal were arrested.

According to the police, one woman entered the pandal and tried to break the idol of Goddess Durga with an iron rod, while the other woman stood outside as a guard. According to the DCP, they have allegedly damaged a part of the idol of the goddess. On this the local youth also tried to stop them, then one of the women tried to attack him too. But the local people caught both of them and handed them over to the police. Both the accused have been taken into custody. Let us tell you that even before this, both the women have broken the statue of a church in First Lancer.

According to the DCP, during the interrogation, strange behavior of both the women came to the fore. She was answering in a strange way. It seemed that she was mentally unstable. Police has sent them for medical examination. During interrogation, the police came to know that two women from Chintalbasti area were creating nuisance in the area and neighbors were also regularly complaining about their strange behaviour. On this matter, his brother Aseemuddin, who works in a corporate company, says that ‘he is living away from the family. His sisters are mentally disturbed.

Saifabad police have booked the two women under separate sections of the IPC 153-A (promoting enmity between two groups), 295 (desecrating places of worship), 295A (acts done with intent to insult any religion). ), 451 and 505 have been registered. The brother of the accused also says that ‘their mother, sisters and brother are mentally disturbed. He is suffering from schizophrenia. He apologized and assured that he would never do this again. Also told that he is undergoing treatment in the hospital. He will take care of all of them in future.

Although the police is engaged in the investigation of the case, so that it can be found out whether both the women had done similar acts in the past, after the medical examination, the police will present both the accused in the court for appropriate action.
