A 32-year-old man has been arrested in Karnataka for murdering his wife. According to the report, the accused killed his wife because she refused to sleep with other men. It has also come to light that he had borrowed money from these people. The accused has been identified as Bhimanna who used to work as a laborer. His 25-year-old wife’s name was Sharana Basamma. This incident took place on July 25 in Shahpur taluka of Yadgir district. However, the police have arrested the accused recently and many information has come to light based on interrogation of him.
Actually, the report of the Central Forensic Science Laboratory was presented regarding this incident. It revealed that the woman was strangled. Bhimanna claimed that he was impotent. That is why he repeatedly asked his wife to sleep with other men so that they could have a child. The police officer said, ‘On July 25, both of them went to Sharana Basamma’s house in Ganganala village. After dinner, they reached the first floor of the house to sleep. During this time, Bhimanna asked his wife to sleep with other men so that they could have a child. Hearing this, Basamma got angry and said that she would never do this. She also threatened to complain about this to her parents.’

According to the report, Bhimanna got furious after hearing these words of his wife and strangled his wife. After this, he called his in-laws and said that Basamma is not speaking anything. It seems that she has a heart attack. The woman was admitted to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead. However, the police were told by the hospital that Basamma died under suspicious circumstances. Even after knowing this, the woman’s parents did not file any complaint against Bhimanna because they considered him innocent. But, as soon as the CFSL report came out, the whole secret was revealed and the accused was arrested.
