Because of this, if the Kanpur Test is drawn due to rain, then India will suffer a loss. Their hopes of reaching the final will also be dashed. India has to play 9 more Test matches before the final, out of which Team India will have to win at least 5 matches. After the Kanpur Test against Bangladesh, Team India has to play a 3-match Test series against New Zealand and a 5-match Test series against Australia at their home. If the second Test of Team India, which is considered a favorite against Bangladesh, is washed out due to rain, then this will make India’s further journey difficult.
