The Badlapur sexual assault case had outraged the entire Maharashtra. The mother of the accused in this case said on Thursday, “If my son has done something wrong, the court should give him the death penalty.” She said that it is not possible for her son to have beaten the children. Let us tell you that the accused has married three times in the last two years and his third wife is now five months pregnant.
The accused’s mother works as a sweeper in another section of the school. Recently, her younger son who used to work in the school became a peon in another section. After this, she got the suspect a job as a sweeper in the school. The accused lives with his mother, father, younger brother and wife in Kharvai village of Badlapur.
The family is scared for their lives after the mob vandalised their house. The police have beefed up security there. Before working as a sweeper in the school, the accused used to work as a sweeper in a housing society with his mother.
Sources said the accused’s first two wives left him soon after marriage. The SIT formed for the case has formed eight teams. The SIT visited the school on Thursday and recorded the statement of two female attendants who were suspended by the school.
The SIT also collected other technical details and seized the digital video recorder, which the school said was not functioning for 15 days before the incident came to light.
