Himachal Pradesh minister Jagat Singh Negi has made a controversial remark about Mandi Lok Sabha MP Kangana Ranaut. Negi said that if Kangana had come to Himachal in the rain, her makeup would have been ruined and then it would not have been possible to tell whether it was Kangana or her mother. Jagat Singh Negi made this objectionable remark during his speech in the assembly.
In the assembly, Negi said, ‘Within how much time can we provide relief to the victims. A cloud burst somewhere and we reach there in two days. Like Kangana did. Kangana tweeted that some officers-MLAs said that there is a red and yellow alert in Himachal, so you should not come now. Whereas 24 people had lost their lives in her constituency. 9 people had lost their lives in Mandi. Among the MLAs, it must have been Jairam ji who must have said not to come now. I don’t know who those officers were. She reached there when everything was fine.’
Even after this, Negi continued to speak on actress-turned-MP Kangana and made objectionable comments. He said, ‘She should not have come in the rain anyway, all the makeup would have been ruined.
