Salary: In UP, only those officers and employees who have given the details of their movable and immovable assets will get the salary for the month of August. The state government has instructed the department heads to pay the salary for August only to those who have given the details, those who have not given the details will not be paid the salary for August.
In an order issued on August 17, the Chief Secretary of the state, Manoj Kumar Singh, has said that all the officers and employees of UP were directed to provide details of movable and immovable property on the Manav Sampada portal by December 31, 2023 as per Rule-2 4 of the Government Employees Conduct Rules, 1956. It was also said that till such employees do not provide details of their movable and immovable property (in the meetings of the departmental selection committee to be held after January 1, 2024), their promotion will not be considered. In the same sequence, in the government order issued on June 6, 2024, while setting the date of June 30, 2024 for giving information on the portal, it was told that disciplinary action will also be taken against the employees who do not provide the details.
