India condemns bomb blast in Somalia, 100 people killed in double bomb blast

Somalia Terror Attack: India on Sunday condemned the terrorist bombings in the office premises of a government office in Somalia’s capital Mogadishu on Saturday. More than 100 people have died in this bomb blast, while more than 300 people are said to be injured.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs said in a statement issued on Sunday that we express our condolences to the families of those killed and injured in the accident. We pray for the speedy recovery of those killed in this double bombing.

All the people killed were civilians
A double bomb exploded in the Somali capital Mogadishu on Saturday. There was a huge crowd at the blast sites, so the number of people killed and casualties in the blast is very high. Somalia’s security agencies have called this attack a terrorist attack.

According to media reports related to the Somalia blast, bodies of people in mutilated condition have been seen near the bombings. Almost all those killed in the blast are civilians, many of whom were traveling in public transport at the time of the blast.

According to an eyewitness, the first blast took place near the Ministry of Education building. Here most of the people had set up their shop on the side of the road.
