Foreign Ministry spokesman Arindam Bagchi said that India expresses its deepest condolences to the families of those killed in the attack. A suicide bomber blew himself up during afternoon prayers at a mosque in Peshawar. At that time the mosque was full of people offering Namaz. The banned organization Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) has claimed responsibility for the attack. According to local security officials, a total of 93 people lost their lives in the attack, while 221 others were injured.
