India’s careful preparation on LAC, work started on 135 km long Ladakh road

New Delhi: Neighboring country China does not desist from its antics. He definitely does one or the other such act so that the situation of tension between the two countries remains. However, India is also no less on the border dispute. Whether it was a two-handed fight with Chinese soldiers in Galvan or a clash in Tawang in Arunachal Pradesh, China has lost both the times. Meanwhile, India has made preparations for vigilance on the Line of Control i.e. LAC. India has started preparations to build a 135 kilometer long single lane highway. Let us tell you that this highway will prove to be an important strategic road for the country.

Know the specialty of this new road
The cost of the 135 kilometer long highway is said to be around Rs 400 crore. It will also be ready in the coming two years. It has been prepared on the basis of parameters of single lane national highway. This new road will run along the Indus River and will be built very close to the India-China border in Leh. The 135 km long road will reduce the distance between Chushul south of Pangong and Demchok in eastern Ladakh.

74.5 meters three important bridges will be built on this road
Three important bridges will also be constructed on this National Highway. The Border Roads Organization ie BRO had prepared the expansion project report on this road in 2018 itself. On January 23, the BRO had invited bids for the construction of the Chushul-Dungti-Fukche-Demchok highway, which is also popularly known as the CDFD road. After that, now the process of building a highway has started to answer China.

Also know about Chushul and Demchok
In fact, Chushul is the same area where the Battle of Rezang La was fought in 1962. On the other hand, if we talk about Demchok, it has also been a witness to the skirmishes between India and China. The planning is also that with the help of this new road, the equipment and crew of the Indian Army can be transported as soon as possible. Apart from this, converting this area into a circuit will help in developing tourism here.
