Injuries in private parts; What happened to the female doctor in Kolkata, the autopsy report will scare you

The investigation into the rape case at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College is ongoing. Meanwhile, the autopsy report has made many shocking revelations. It says that the doctor has severe injury marks on many parts of his body, including his private parts. However, nothing has been said officially about this. Doctors are protesting across the country over the incident.

According to India Today’s report, the post-mortem report has found many evidences of sexual violence. According to it, there are more than 14 injury marks on the victim’s head, face, neck, hands and genitals. Also, the cause of death is believed to be strangulation with hands. The manner of death is believed to be murder. Also, the possibility of sexual assault has been raised in the report.

According to the report, white, thick, sticky fluid was found in the victim’s private parts and bleeding and blood clots were also reported in the lungs. However, no signs of fracture were found. The blood and other fluid samples found during the examination have been sent for further investigation.

Police say the body of the trainee doctor was found in the seminar room of the hospital on August 9. Police arrested a man named Sanjay Roy in connection with the crime. Later, it was handed over to the Central Bureau of Investigation or CBI. Following public outrage, former principal of RG Kar Medical College and Hospital, Dr Sandip Ghosh resigned from the post.

OPD outside health ministry in Delhi

According to news agency PTI, the doctors who have been on strike for eight days have decided to provide alternative outpatient services (OPD) outside the Nirman Bhawan on Monday. According to a statement from AIIMS Resident Doctors Association (RDA), resident doctors will be available to provide around 36 OPD services including medicine, surgery, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatrics, ophthalmology and orthopedics to patients outside the Nirman Bhawan on Monday. However, emergency services in hospitals will continue as before.

The protesting resident doctors announced late Sunday night that their strike will continue. According to the RDA statement, the doctors will leave for Nirman Bhawan at 11 am. A resident doctor from Safdarjung Hospital said that there could be some relief if there was a concrete response from the government regarding bringing a central security act for doctors.
