Israel has planned to destroy Hezbollah by entering inside Lebanon. Israeli army chief Harzi Halevi told his soldiers on Wednesday that “flying jets” are heading towards Lebanon to weaken Hezbollah and prepare for a possible ground operation. Halevi said, “You are hearing the sound of jets, we are attacking all day. This is to prepare the ground for your possible entry and to weaken Hezbollah.” Let us tell you that the Israeli army has already wreaked havoc in Gaza, Palestine. To avenge the attack on October 7, Israel has vowed to destroy the Gaza-based terrorist organization Hamas. Now Israel’s next target is Lebanon’s terrorist organization Hezbollah.
The Israeli army has announced that it has called up two reserve brigades for an “operational mission” in the northern areas and is deploying them near the Lebanese border, the BBC reports. “Today, Hezbollah has extended its firing range, and they will soon receive a strong response. Keep your preparations on track. We will continue, we are not going to stop. We are hitting them everywhere. Our goal is clear – we want to bring back residents of the northern areas safely,” Halevi told the soldiers.
Halevi also said the army was now “preparing for a major operation.” This means that Israeli troops will enter villages built by Hezbollah and used as military bases. On Wednesday, Hezbollah fired dozens of rockets at Israel, including a long-range missile that triggered an air strike warning on Tel Aviv and central Israel. Israel said it destroyed the missile and there were no reports of casualties or property damage.
Hezbollah claimed that it fired a ballistic missile at the headquarters of the Israeli intelligence agency Mossad. Hezbollah has been blaming Mossad for the targeted killing of its senior leaders. Israel later said that it attacked the location in southern Lebanon from where the missile was launched.
Earlier on Tuesday, Israel killed a top Hezbollah commander, part of a two-day bombing campaign that killed more than 560 people and forced thousands to flee southern parts of Lebanon. Hezbollah has fired hundreds of missiles toward Israel, damaging some buildings and homes and slightly injuring several people.
