New Delhi. Congress leader and former Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Harish Rawat has given a big statement regarding Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (PoK). On Sunday, he gave a befitting reply to the statement of Pakistan’s new army chief Asim Munir, saying that it is time to take back PoK. Commenting on Pakistan, Rawat said that at present Pakistan is in a weak position and this is the time when we can take PoK from Pakistan.

According to ANI, the Congress leader further said that it is our responsibility to free PoK from the illegal occupation of Pakistan. We had passed a resolution in the Parliament during the Congress government. Now the Modi government should also include this in its agenda. At this time Pakistan is in a weak position, this is the time when we can take PoK from Pakistan.

General Dwivedi gave a statement on POK
It may be known that some time ago, Northern Army Commander Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi had given a statement that the Indian Army is ready to implement orders like taking back Pakistan-occupied Kashmir. Citing this statement, Pakistan’s new army chief Asim Munir said that if his country is attacked, then the Pak army will protect its ‘motherland’ and also fight the enemy.

Significantly, this statement of General Upendra Dwivedi was tweeted by film actress Richa Chadha, on which a controversy had arisen. Richa was also criticized a lot for this statement. People criticized the actress for this statement and said that her tweet is against the army and the country. Later, in view of the growing controversy, Richa had apologized for her statement. Earlier on October 28, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh reiterated New Delhi’s resolve to take back PoK.
