Jammu-Kashmir Elections: BJP played a big bet by leaving 28 seats of Kashmir vacant, know what is the plan

The strategy of all the parties for the Jammu and Kashmir assembly elections has almost come out. This time BJP has prepared a new strategy. The party has kept its full focus on the Jammu region and is moving forward on the strategy of indirectly supporting independents and local parties in the valley. Out of the 47 seats in the Kashmir valley, BJP has fielded candidates on only 19 seats and has left 28 seats vacant.

Now the situation has become clear after the candidates have been fielded on all the seats of Jammu region. Here BJP is mainly competing with the Congress and National Conference alliance. BJP wants to win more seats than last time in the 43 seats of this region. However, the kind of ruckus that has happened regarding the distribution of tickets is also a matter of concern for the BJP leadership. BJP has fielded its candidates on all 43 seats of this region, but its problems have increased due to the cancellation of tickets of many big leaders. Some of them have even rebelled and entered the election fray.

Candidates were fielded only on 19 seats in Kashmir
BJP’s real strategy is about Kashmir valley, where its chances of winning are very low. In such a situation, the party has fielded candidates only on 19 out of 47 seats in the valley. These include 8 out of 16 seats in South Kashmir, 6 out of 15 seats in Central Kashmir and 5 out of 16 seats in North Kashmir. According to sources, BJP’s strategy here is based on independent and local party candidates, who are contesting against the Congress-NC alliance and PDP. However, the leaders BJP had prepared in this region are definitely angry. After Ram Madhav was called back to BJP from the Sangh as election in-charge, the party has started implementing this strategy.

According to sources, the candidates of Sajjad Lone, Altaf Bukhari and Ghulam Nabi Azad along with the Awami Ittehad Party of Engineer Rashid, who was recently released from jail, can be effective on many seats in the valley.

Apart from this, BJP is also indirectly helping many independent candidates and standing behind them. The party is trying to ensure the victory of such candidates in at least half the seats in the valley who can later play an important role in the formation of the new government by supporting BJP directly or indirectly in the state.
