Kejriwal appeals to PM Modi to put pictures of Lakshmi-Ganesh on notes – Fast Hindi News

New Delhi: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Wednesday appealed to Prime Minister Narendra Modi to put pictures of Goddess Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha on the new currency notes.

In a press briefing, the Delhi CM said that the Indian economy was not in good shape and we need a lot of efforts to bring our economy back on track, but at the same time we also need the blessings of our gods and goddesses. .

Appealing to the central government, Kejriwal said that there should be a picture of Mata Lakshmi ji and Ganesh ji along with Mahatma Gandhi on the currency.

He said, “There should be a picture of Lakshmi ji and Ganesh ji on the currency with Gandhi ji, the deteriorating economy of the country will be blessed – many steps should be taken, this is also one of them.”

Giving the example of Indonesia, he said that Indonesia is a Muslim country and there are 85 percent Muslims and only 2 percent Hindus but there is a picture of Lord Ganesha on the currency.

The Delhi chief minister said he was not asking for changes in the notes, but was requesting new notes to include pictures of Lakshmi and Ganesha.

The Aam Aadmi Party chief said that he would soon write a letter to the Prime Minister with his request.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia also supported the idea and said, “Maa Lakshmi and Lord Ganesha are symbols of prosperity. With his blessings, the country will prosper and become number one.

He said that putting the picture of two deities along with Mahatma Gandhi on the notes would prove to be auspicious for the entire country.
