At the same time, in October last month, a 48-year-old man was sentenced to 20 years by the court after being found guilty of sexually assaulting a minor girl. This case was also of Palakkad district. This incident happened in the year 2020. The accused had sexually assaulted the minor girl at his house. The victim was only seven years old when the accused carried out this incident. The accused had taken the girl to his house on some pretext and sexually assaulted her there. 15 people testified in this sexual harassment case.
