Kerala: Passenger caught smoking in toilet of Spice Jet flight, arrested

Kochi: A 62-year-old man from Kerala has been arrested for smoking in the toilet of an aircraft during a flight. The said aircraft of the private aviation company had landed at Kochi airport on January 29. Police said that an FIR has been registered against Thrissur resident Sukumaran under various sections of the Aircraft Act.

He told that the FIR was registered on January 29 and after completing all the formalities, he was arrested. According to the police, the accused has got bail.

According to the FIR, the accused was smoking in the toilet of the Spice Jet aircraft when it was in the air. According to the information, the crew members caught him and handed him over to the airport officials.
