MCD Election 2022: Voting will be held today (December 4) for the Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD Election). Votes will be cast in 250 wards. For this, 13,638 polling stations have been set up all over Delhi. 68 ‘pink polling stations’ have also been made for women. Along with this, arrangements have also been made for 68 model polling stations. Votes will be cast from 8 am to 5.30 pm.

Know your booth by SMS
To get information about polling booth through message, you must have voter ID card. To know, SMS 9211728082 or 1950, if your name is in the voter list, you will get the name, booth and polling center information through SMS within a short time. If your name is not in the list then you will get the message ‘No Record Found’.
Know the location of the polling booth like this
With the help of Nigam Election App, you can also know the location of your polling booth. For this, one has to click on Locate Polling Station in the app. Select your assembly constituency and ward here. After this the list of all the polling stations of the ward will appear. You can check its location by clicking on your booth and can easily reach there with the help of Google Map.
213 voters are more than 100 years old
This time more than one crore 46 lakh voters will exercise their franchise in Delhi. Out of these, the age of 213 voters is more than 100 years. A total of 1,349 candidates have filed nominations in this election, out of which 709 are women and the rest are men. Let us tell you that the number of wards has decreased due to the implementation of the new delimitation in the Municipal Corporation of Delhi. Where earlier there were 272 wards in MCD, now the number of wards has been reduced to 250.
