Major updates in the Kolkata rape-murder case.

There is an uproar in Kolkata over the rape and murder case of a female doctor. Let us tell you that last month a female doctor was raped and murdered in Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College Hospital. The CBI is investigating this case. According to the latest information received from sources, the CBI investigation has reached its final stage. Many big updates have also emerged regarding the main accused of this incident.

DNA of the deceased and DNA of the accused match

A major revelation has happened in the rape and murder case at RG Kar Hospital. According to sources, the DNA of the deceased and the accused have matched. It will take some time to prepare a detailed report. CFSL experts have done separate profiling of DNA. DNA has also been matched with other seized exhibits. The detailed report will be given to the CBI after conducting advanced scientific tests. After receiving the report, the CBI can consider getting other scientific tests done on the accused.

There is enough evidence against Sanjay Roy

According to sources, the main accused in this Kolkata incident is only Sanjay Roy in the investigation so far. CBI has enough evidence to file a charge sheet against Sanjay Roy. The DNA report has already reached CBI which was sent to AIIMS for final opinion. A panel of doctors from AIIMS has studied the DNA report thoroughly and this final report will be sent back to CBI soon.

Sanjay Roy was involved in the rape and murder

Sources claim that after AIIMS’ final opinion on DNA, CBI will soon conclude the investigation in this case. According to sources, in the investigation so far, only Sanjay Roy was involved in the rape and murder, not anyone else. CBI has also recorded the statements of more than 100 people in this case so far.

Polygraph test of more than 10 people

Polygraph tests of more than 10 people were a part of CBI’s SOP so that no clue of the crime remains unfinished in the charge sheet. CBI wanted to confirm even the tiniest of suspicions in the investigation. That is why CBI had conducted polygraph tests of more than 10 people.
