At the same time, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will give a statement in the Rajya Sabha on 3 new criminal law bills. These three bills have been passed by the Lok Sabha yesterday and today it is considered almost certain to be passed by the Rajya Sabha also. During this time, PM Modi will also be with Amit Shah and it is possible that PM Modi may also address.

18 bills were passed in the Lok Sabha, of which 3 major ones are-

  1. Indian Judicial Code 2023
  2. Indian Evidence Bill 2023
  3. Central Goods and Services Tax Bill 2023

Meanwhile, the fight over the suspension of opposition MPs intensified today. This morning the entire opposition came out on the streets. Opposition MPs marched from the Old Parliament to Vijay Chowk, which included almost all the MPs of the INDIA alliance. While Sonia Gandhi was present in the protest, Sharad Pawar also marched. After the march, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge launched a scathing attack on PM Modi. Kharge said that PM Modi does not want Parliament to function. On the question of security lapse, Kharge said that if we do not raise questions in Parliament then where will we raise questions.

Winter session of Parliament ends

The winter session of Parliament ended after a lot of noise, uproar and demonstrations. The conflict in the house reached the streets. On one hand, suspension of MPs became history and on the other hand, insult to the Speaker also became a hot topic. Today, before the conclusion of the last day of the session, both the government and the opposition took to the streets. Opposition MPs took out a march from the main gate of the old Parliament building to Vijay Chowk, while the ruling party held a strong demonstration at Jantar Mantar against the insult to the Speaker.
