An astonishing incident was witnessed in Saharsa, Bihar on Friday. As soon as Chief Minister Nitish Kumar left, the fish were looted from the program. Actually, an exhibition was organized by the Fisheries Department in the CM’s program. A biofloc was placed in it and filled with water. CM Nitish Kumar also put fish in it. As soon as the Chief Minister left the program, people pounced on the fish. In an attempt to loot the fish, people broke the biofloc. Its video also went viral on social media.
In the viral video, the crowd is seen pulling the biofloc. Children are jumping inside. People are looting the fish. According to reports, the fisheries department has suffered a loss of thousands due to the looting by the people. When people were looting the fish, government officials were also present there. But they too failed to stop them.
Chief Minister Nitish Kumar was on a visit to Saharsa on Friday. During this, he laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various projects costing crores. The CM laid the foundation stone of the bridge to be built on the Kosi river at Dengra Ghat and inaugurated the auditorium building located at the Collectorate. The District Emergency Facility cum Training Center for flood control was inaugurated in Mahisi block. The work of Saharsa Nayabazar to NH 327 E via Nariyar Road was also inaugurated.
