Loss of eyesight due to eye drops in America, drug firm of Chennai recalled the product

New Delhi. Two teams of Central Government and State Drug Regulators will inspect the manufacturing plant of ‘Global Pharma Healthcare’ located near Chennai. In fact, after the use of the company’s ‘eye drops’, people in America allegedly lost their eyesight, it has withdrawn this product from the market. Official sources gave this information. He told that this eye drop is not being sold in India. “Teams from the Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) and the state drug controller have left for the plant, located about 40 km south of Chennai,” a source said. There are three officers each in both the parties.

The US Food and Drug Administration (USFDA) said in a statement that it is recalling ‘Artificial Tears Lubricant’ eye drops being distributed at the consumer level by Chennai-based company EasyCare, LLC and Delsam Pharma due to possible contamination. To date, there have been 55 cases of eye damage, including eye infection, permanent loss of vision and one death from a bloodstream infection, the statement said.

Do not buy or use this drug is being recalled
It is noteworthy that ‘Artificial Tears Lubricant’ is used when there is irritation in the eyes or when the eyes become dry. The company said in a statement posted on its website that it has informed the distributors of this product, Aru Pharma Inc. and Delsam Pharma, and is requesting that wholesalers, retailers and customers who also have it (return being taken) product they stop using it.
