There is a book stall in the name of Radha Swami Satsang. Its biggest feature is that the religious texts of Hinduism, Islam, Buddhism, Jainism, Sikhism and Christianity have all been kept together. It remains the center of attraction for the book lovers who come here.
Apart from the youth, the elderly are also coming to this stall and buying it. Book lover student Shivam Singh told that he has bought eight books from this stall so far. Books are available here in both Hindi and English languages.
Will conclude on 6th November
The nine-day-long Gomti Book Festival began on October 29. It will conclude on November 6. The special thing is that there are book stalls of about 44 publishers in this book festival, in which the entry has been kept completely free. One can come here from 11 am to 8 pm. From children to elders and elders, there is a treasure trove of books of their interest. The ‘Buy and Sell’ stall in this book fair is also special in itself. Its member Vibhuti Narayan Dixit told that people can both buy and sell books at his stall.
Lucknow is called the city of youth. These days the number of youth is visible in the book fair held here. Be it school students or students of Lucknow University, all are coming here and getting acquainted with the world of books.
