Major accident in Kochi, Kerala
Four students died and many were injured in a stampede during a music concert in Kochi, Kerala. Two girl students are also included in the dead, while the condition of the other two girls remains critical. The injured have been admitted to Kalamsheri Medical College where 46 students are currently undergoing treatment. It has been reported that some students have also been sent to private hospitals. It is being said that the singing program of singer Nikita Gandhi was to start at 6 o’clock, which started at 6:30, by then this open auditorium was completely filled. There was a lot of crowd around the auditorium also. Suddenly at that very moment there was heavy rain, after which the people standing outside started running inside and due to the increase in the crowd, a stampede situation occurred and this accident happened.

Dr. Sankaran, Vice-Chancellor of the college, said, “…as part of the technical fest, a musical program was also organised…Unfortunately, the crowd was very large and it rained…the steps caused some problems. “And some students fell… I will be able to tell the number of people injured only tomorrow. More than 2,000 people were involved… 2 students are serious…”
