Sources said the party has not taken a decision on his resignation, which he tendered while contesting for the Congress president’s election. When asked about Kharge, AICC General Secretary (Communications) Jairam Ramesh said, “Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will work with the opposition parties not only as the President of the Congress Party but also as the Leader of the Opposition in the Rajya Sabha.” ‘
