Mamata Banerjee is lying, we were offered money; claims Kolkata riot victim’s mother

The mother of the victim of the Kolkata incident has accused West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee of lying. She said that she was offered compensation. CM Mamata is lying. In fact, Mamata has denied the allegations that she tried to bribe the parents of the trainee doctor. She said that this is a conspiracy to defame her government. In response to this, the victim’s mother said, ‘The Chief Minister had said that you will get compensation and you can build something in memory of your daughter. To this I said that when my daughter gets justice, then we will come to your office and take compensation.

The victim’s mother also criticized Mamata Banerjee’s statement in which she appealed to stop the protests. Also, she asked people to celebrate Durga Puja. The victim’s mother called it inhuman. She said, ‘I find it inhuman to say this because I am the mother of that girl. I have lost my daughter. If people from all over the country want to return for the festival, they can do so.’ She recalled that Durga Puja was celebrated at my home as well. My daughter used to celebrate it at home. But now there is darkness all around in my life. How can I tell people to celebrate Durga Puja.

‘If such an incident had happened at his home then…’

The mother of the trainee doctor targeted CM Mamata and said, ‘If such an incident had happened at her home, would she have said such a thing?’ Let us tell you that Mamata Banerjee has appealed to the people to return to the festivities as Durga Puja is near. She said, ‘If you stay on the streets every night, the elderly people are deprived of sleep due to noise pollution. A month has passed. I request you to return to the festivities and demand that the CBI complete the investigation as soon as possible.’ The Chief Minister also appealed to the junior doctors to return to work as soon as possible. Also, directed the state health secretary NS Nigam to take care of the Supreme Court’s instructions on this issue.

The body was found in the seminar hall of the hospital

The body of a female doctor was found on August 9 at Kolkata’s RG Kar Medical College and Hospital. She was raped and murdered in the hospital while she was on duty. Protests broke out across the country after this incident. Chief Minister Mamata praised the Kolkata Police for keeping patience and not taking any action against the agitating doctors. She said, ‘I am happy that our police maintained patience and dealt with the law and order situation despite getting hurt themselves. This can happen only in Bengal because we respect democracy here. This does not happen in Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan or Delhi.’
