Manipur’s rebels were preparing for war, the army destroyed them

New Delhi. Amidst the ongoing violence in Manipur, the Indian Army has got a big success against the rebels on Tuesday. The army conducted a search operation in Signu-Sirohi after the firing by the rebels last night. During this, firing was also done from the side of the rebels. In the end, the Indian Army got great success. The army has claimed that these rebels were sitting in war-like preparations.

News agency ANI quoted the army as saying, “Last night a search operation was conducted in Signu-Sirohi. Inputs have been received that the rebels have suffered a lot during this period, which is being tried to verify. During the initial search, 2 AK series rifles, one 51 mm mortar, two carbines, ammunition have been recovered. Along with this, store rooms made for war-like situation have also been found from the general area. The entire area is being sanitised.”

Security forces are conducting search operations in Sugnu-Serou of Manipur after an exchange of fire with insurgents last night, says Indian Army.
