Mayawati’s nephew Akash Anand got married, Dr. Pragya became bride, aunt arrived to bless, see photo

Noida. Akash Anand, nephew of BSP supremo Mayawati, has been married to Dr. Pragya Siddharth in Gurgaon on Sunday, March 26 amid traditional rituals. The marriage was done according to Buddhist customs and here the elephant was also in the wedding theme. Akash Anand is the son of Mayawati’s youngest brother Anand Kumar. The BSP supremo has been seen blessing Akash and his bride Pragya at the wedding. The wedding reception has been kept in Noida on 28 March.

Akash Anand is the National Coordinator of Bahujan Samaj Party. The marriage was done on Sunday at Ambience Dot Resort in Gurugram. After the engagement at 7 pm, the marriage ceremony was held at 10 pm. Buddhist monks (Bhante) were called from Sarnath-Kushinagar, Lucknow to conduct the marriage. After recitation of Buddha Vandana, Trisharan, Panchsheel and Paritran, the main rites of marriage were performed. Jaimal’s ceremony was also performed. The doctor Pragya who is getting married to Akash Anand is the daughter of former Rajya Sabha member Ashok Siddharth. Ashok is considered very close to BSP chief Mayawati. It was on the advice of Mayawati that he left the job of a doctor and joined the BSP party. His daughter Pragya has completed MBBS and is preparing for MD.

Only very special guests were invited to Mayawati’s nephew Akash Anand’s wedding. After this, many political personalities are likely to attend the reception to be held on March 28.
