Mehbooba Mufti, who reached Bharat Jodo Yatra, hugged Rahul-Priyanka, said- the journey is like a breath of fresh air

Srinagar. Bharat Jodo Yatra of Congress is in its last stop in Jammu and Kashmir. It is to end on 30 January. All the regional parties have also been invited in the party for the closing ceremony of this yatra. In this sequence, this yatra reached Avantipora in Jammu and Kashmir on Saturday. Where Peoples Democratic Party chief Mehbooba Mufti joined the Bharat Jodo Yatra. During this, he embraced Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and party general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra.

After joining the yatra, Mufti said that ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ is like a breath of fresh air for Kashmir because after 2019, it has given such a large number of people a chance to leave their homes. It is worth mentioning that on August 5, 2019, the Central Government abolished Article 370 of the Constitution giving special status to the erstwhile state of Jammu and Kashmir and divided it into two Union Territories.

The PDP tweeted, “Rahul Gandhi’s visit is a breath of fresh air for Kashmir. This is happening for the first time after 2019, when such a large number of Kashmiris are coming out. It was a good experience walking with him.” The former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir joined Rahul Gandhi in a padyatra at Chursu in south Kashmir’s Pulwala district.

Omar Abdullah also supported
On the other hand, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah said on Saturday that Rahul Gandhi-led Bharat Jodo Yatra is getting good response in Kashmir, but TV media and ‘Kashmir experts’ are keeping silence on it.

The former chief minister of Jammu and Kashmir has tweeted, “The bigots are mostly silent and the channels don’t want to talk about it, but you don’t need any special glasses to see that ‘Bharat Jodo Yatra’ is very important.” Getting good response. Elders, old men, men, women, all are taking to the streets and marching for unity.

He said, “The saddest silence is that of the ‘Kashmir experts’ who never miss a single opportunity to call Kashmiris anti-national, communal and intolerant.” People’s participation is a slap on the face of their propaganda and this explains the reason for their silence.

Abdullah also participated in the padyatra in Banihal on Friday.
