The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has said that the temperature in Delhi is set to rise in the coming days. The weather agency has predicted dry days and clear skies in the national capital.
Although no heatwave warning has been issued for Delhi-NCR, it may be experienced at isolated places. According to IMD, after knocking in Kerala, the southwest monsoon is now ready to knock in Karnataka and Tamil Nadu. On the other hand, due to the formation of a low pressure area over the northeastern Bay of Bengal, the northeastern states will also receive monsoon rains in the next two days. According to IMD, conditions of better rains are developing in North West India in the fourth week of June and the first week of July.

How will be the weather in Northeast India

There will be an outbreak of severe heat in some parts of Bihar from Saturday to Tuesday. The Gangetic West Bengal region will also experience a similar situation in these days.

Hot winds are likely to prevail in Odisha, Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh for the next three days, while sub-Himalayan West Bengal, Sikkim, Andhra Pradesh will experience heat wave conditions on Saturday. The Safdarjung Observatory, the primary weather station in the national capital, recorded a minimum temperature of 27.3 degrees Celsius on Friday, which is normal for this time of the year. Today the maximum temperature is likely to be around 40 degree Celsius. There is a possibility of strong surface winds during the day and very light rain at night.
