In fact, in the Lok Sabha elections held in June, Congress had contested 17 seats and won 13. At the same time, partner party Shiv Sena (UBT) contested 21 and won 9 seats. How many seats does Congress want?
The report quoted MVA sources as saying that Congress is preparing for 110-115 seats out of 288. The party is in favor of leaving 90-95 seats for Uddhav Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT) and 80-85 seats for NCP (SP).
