The recovery of a huge quantity of cocaine is being considered a big success for the Special Cell. It is being told that Delhi Police will hold a press conference at 3.30 pm and give detailed information about this matter.
Two days ago also, 3 foreigners were caught with a consignment of drugs in Delhi.
According to NDTV report, this latest bust of the drug smuggling racket in the capital comes after the arrest of two Afghan nationals in Delhi’s Tilak Nagar area on Sunday, from whom 400 grams of heroin and 160 grams of cocaine were recovered.
On the same day, the Customs Department had seized 1,660 grams of cocaine worth over Rs 24 crore from a foreign passenger at Indira Gandhi International Airport. The arrested passenger is a citizen of the Federal Republic of Liberia, who had come to Delhi from Dubai. He has been arrested under NDPS Act 1985.
“Based on profiling, Customs at IGI Airport has seized 1660 grams of cocaine worth Rs 24.90 crore from a male passenger from the Federal Republic of Liberia who had arrived in Delhi from Dubai. Passengers Has been arrested under NDPS Act 1985.”
