More than a thousand people died during the riots in burning Bangladesh, 400 people lost their eyes – Government

The country’s health advisor Noor Jahan Begum gave this information on Thursday. She presented these figures while talking to the local media after visiting the Central Police Hospital in Rajarbagh.

According to Bangladesh’s newspaper Daily Star, the advisor talked to the injured police officers in the surgery department of the hospital and inquired about their condition. Noor Jahan has said that the government is trying to provide special care to those who lost their sight during the rebellion. Health advisor Noor Jahan has said that many injured policemen are being treated in the hospital. He has said that many policemen have also suffered serious injuries. The injured student coordinator is also being treated in the hospital.

United Nations Human Rights has given different data

On this matter, the Human Rights Support Society has said that on August 21, it had received information about the death of 819 people during the protests through the families of the victims, hospitals, eyewitnesses and national newspapers. According to the report published by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on August 16, 650 people were killed during student-led protests in Bangladesh between July 16 and August 11.
