Noor Jahan has said that the government is trying to provide special care to those who lost their sight during the rebellion. On this matter, the Human Rights Support Society has said that on August 21, it had received information about the death of 819 people during the protests through the families of the victims, hospitals, eyewitnesses and national newspapers. According to the report published by the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights on August 16, 650 people were killed during student-led protests in Bangladesh between July 16 and August 11.
