Husband commits suicide after learning about mother of two eloping with boyfriend on her Instagram

Dispur, In Assam’s Jorhat district, the husband committed suicide on Friday after receiving information that the mother of two children had eloped with her boyfriend on Instagram. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Shabbir Hussain, a resident of Dhakaipatti area of Jorhat. According to the news, the victim’s wife and daughter had gone missing in the first week of January.
According to the family members of the deceased, Shabbir’s wife met a person through Instagram and had extra marital affairs with him. However, it is feared that someone took the woman and her daughter away. The relatives of the victim also said that a few days back they had received a call from the eloped wife that she was in danger.
The relatives of the deceased Shabbir Hussain lodged a complaint with the Jorhat police station. One of Shabbir Hussain’s family members said, “We have lodged an FIR at the Jorhat police station.” Though the police had already started searching for the missing woman, but the call made by the woman to her family members is complicating the case. The police and the family members of the woman are not sure whether the woman was abducted or she eloped with her lover.
