BSP supremo Mayawati has started preparations for the assembly by-elections as well as the general elections to be held in the year 2027. BSP is working on a new strategy. Muslims have been given a place in the BSP divisional committees to connect Muslims with the party. It has happened after a long time that Muslims have also been included in the divisional committees along with Dalits and other backward classes. Along with this, now two committees will work in the division within the sector. Earlier only one committee used to work.
After the poor performance in the Lok Sabha elections, the BSP supremo is constantly engaged in strengthening the organization. While she is focused on retaining the core vote bank, she also wants to connect Muslims with the party. She believes that if even half of the Muslims stand with her, she can sail through. After the meeting of the National Executive, she has made major changes in the sector and divisional committees keeping this in mind. Along with this, changes have also been made in the divisions in the sectors.
Three divisions, Lucknow, Kanpur and Jhansi have been included in the Lucknow sector. Earlier, Prayagraj and Mirzapur divisions were included along with Lucknow. Dhanshyam Chandra Kharwar, Pravesh Kuril, Samsuddin Rain and Akhilesh Ambedkar have been included in the new sector. Maujilal Gautam, Anurendra Kumar, Sandeep Kumar Rawat, Dinesh Pal have been included in Lucknow division team-A. Rakesh Gautam, Gangaram Gautam, Shyam Kishore Awasthi have been included in team-B. Samsuddin Rain’s main task will be to connect Muslims with the party.
Similarly, a sector has been created by combining Prayagraj, Mirzapur and Chitrakoot divisions. Dr. Vijay Pratap, Raju Gautam, Bhimrao Ambedkar and Amarendra Bahadur Pasi have been included in it. Along with this, BSP state president Vishwanath Pal will give his time to this sector. In Prayagraj division, Akash Rao Gautam, Premchand Nirmal, Akash Verma have been included in team-A and Ramesh Pasi, Awadhesh Gautam, Ram Narayan have been included in team-B. Along with this, Mohammad Akram has also been included. His job will be to connect Muslims with the party.

Big leaders like Qadir Rana, Imran Masood, Naseemuddin Siddiqui, Afzal Ansari, Danish Ali, Shah Alam alias Guddu Jamali from Western UP used to be in BSP. Their job was mainly to connect the Muslim community with BSP.
