Source- C Voter
- National Security-30%
- Modi-Shah’s work-17%
- State government work-16%
- Aam Aadmi Party -16%
- Others – 3%
This is the opinion of the public, which came out from the survey of C-Voter regarding the effective issues in Gujarat elections. 30 percent people feel that national security is the most effective issue. 18 percent people believe that polarization will prove to be an effective issue. In the eyes of 17 percent people, the work of PM Modi and Union Home Minister Shah is the most effective issue. 16 percent people have told the work of the state government and the same percentage of people have told the Aam Aadmi Party as the most effective issue. There are also three percent people who feel that apart from these there can be some more effective issues.
Figures a relief for AAP?
The thing to note is that 16 percent of the people have considered the Aam Aadmi Party as an effective issue. This figure becomes important for ‘AAP’ as the party is contesting almost all the seats with full force for the first time. AAP had fought in the last assembly elections too, but had fielded candidates on only 29 seats and their deposits were forfeited. In such a situation, 16 percent of the people telling ‘AAP’ as an effective issue shows that the fast-paced election campaign and promises of the party convenor Arvind Kejriwal and his team have attracted the attention of the public.
The noise of campaigning for the first phase in Gujarat will end on Tuesday (November 29) evening. On December 1 and 5, votes will be cast for the first and second phase respectively. The counting of votes will take place on December 8. It is expected that the results will be released on the same day.
