Navy Day: Navy Day was celebrated away from the capital for the first time, President Draupadi Murmu attended

Visakhapatnam: For the first time after becoming the President of India, Draupadi Murmu reached Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. Here he participated in the Navy Day celebrations in Visakhapatnam. Earlier in a meeting, he said that the people of Andhra Pradesh have contributed a lot in the development of the country. Andhra Pradesh has played a leading role in the development of modern science and technology in independent India.

The President enjoyed the exhibition of Indian ships and submarines in the program organized on the occasion of Navy Day. During the exhibition, ships, submarines and aircraft of the Indian Navy showcased the capability and ingenuity of the Indian Navy. The event ended with a sunset ceremony and lighting of the anchorage by the ships.

Program held outside Delhi for the first time
