New Delhi: A delegation of the News Broadcasters and Digital Association (NBDA) led by its president and India TV Chairman and Editor-in-Chief Rajat Sharma met Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday.
The delegation briefed the Prime Minister on the state of the news broadcasting industry in the era of digital revolution, the constraints, problems and challenges which are seriously impacting the growth of the ‘news’ genre. Information and Broadcasting Minister Ashwini Vaishnav was also present in the meeting.
Other members of the delegation included Anuradha Prasad Shukla, Chairperson and Managing Director, News 24 Broadcast India Limited, Rahul Joshi, Managing Director, TV18 Broadcast Limited, Kali Purie Bhandal, Vice Chairperson and Managing Director, TV Today Network Limited, Dhruv Mukherjee, Director, ABP Network Limited and Anil Kumar Malhotra, Advisor, Zee Media Corporation Limited.
