Sharad Pawar Under the leadership of Rahul Gandhi, Congress is taking out Bharat Jodo Yatra. This yatra will reach Maharashtra on 7th November. During this, NCP Chief Sharad Pawar will also join the yatra. It has been learned from the sources that Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Thackeray can also join Rahul Gandhi’s India visit.
Bharat Jodi Yatra is currently passing through the state of Telangana. Congress workers are busy making preparations for the Yatra to reach Maharashtra. Congress, NCP and Shiv Sena were in alliance in Maha Aghadi government of Maharashtra. However, in the same year, the government fell after a revolt of Shiv Sena’s Eknath Shinde along with several MLAs. After this Shinde formed a new government with the help of BJP.
Maharashtra Congress chief Nana Patole said on Sunday (October 30) that Sharad Pawar has accepted the invitation to be a part of the Bharat Jodo Yatra. Patole was speaking after attending a meeting organized to review the preparations for the yatra in the state. Maharashtra Congress in-charge HK Patil and senior party leader KC Venugopal also participated in the meeting.
Patole said Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) chief Uddhav Thackeray has also been invited, but his presence is yet to be confirmed. He said that Rahul Gandhi will address rallies in Nanded and Shegaon of Buldhana as part of Bharat Jodo Yatra.
