Jitendra Awhad Got Bail: NCP leader and MLA Jitendra Awhad has got bail in Maharashtra. The court has got him bail on a personal bond of Rs 15,000. NCP leader Jitendra was arrested in several cases. He is accused of assault, misbehaving with a woman. However, Awhad had termed these allegations as fake.

A few days ago, Jitendra Awhad announced his resignation by tweeting. He had said that in the last 72 hours, two fake cases were imposed against him. I cannot see democracy being murdered in front of my eyes, so he has decided to resign from the post of MLA. Jitendra is an NCP MLA from Thane’s Kalwa-Mumbra area. A case of indecency with the woman was registered against him at the Mumbra police station itself. Earlier, a case of assault was also registered against him at Vartaknagar police station and he was arrested.

What is the whole matter?

The first case against him was that Jitendra Awhad, along with his supporters, had stopped the screening of the film ‘Har Har Mahadev’ in a mall in Pune. It is alleged that he also had a fight after going to the mall. NCP MLA has been arrested by Thane police. Jitendra Awhad said that I will not ask for bail in this case.

Case 2: A case under section 354 of the IPC was registered against Jitendra Awhad at the Mumbra police station in Thane. The complainant alleged that on the day Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde came to inaugurate the flyover built in Thane, Eknath Shinde was going to sit back in his car after the program was over. That’s why Awhad had said objectionable words to the woman. The woman alleged that Awhad’s intention was not right. The victim woman was said to be a BJP worker. The incident took place on Sunday evening at 7 pm.
