In a press conference in Patna, Indresh Kumar, on the question of violence by cow protectors, said that mob violence is not justified in any form. Mob lynching of people of any religion or caste is condemnable. He also talked about prohibition on cow slaughter. He said that people of all castes and religions should follow their own code of conduct and also respect others. He also appealed to be cautious of religious fanaticism and violence caused by it.
