Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu vowed to destroy Hezbollah like Hamas. Netanyahu announced that Israel will continue to attack with full force until terrorists stop firing rockets at us from across the border. Netanyahu’s now vow to defend Lebanon has dashed hopes of a ceasefire offer made by the US and other European countries. Even though America is trying to convince Israel for a ceasefire, it is also giving it huge packages for weapons and missiles through the backdoor. This is not the first time, America continued to help Israel despite allegations of gruesome massacre of innocents during the Gaza war.
On Thursday, the Israeli army launched a new attack in Lebanon. Another senior commander of Hezbollah was killed in this attack. In the counter attack, dozens of rockets were also fired at Israel from Lebanon. The effect of this fierce conflict has been that people living in the border areas of Israel and Lebanon have started running away to save their lives. They are being displaced to safer places.
Netanyahu vowed to eliminate Hezbollah too
Netanyahu, who arrived in New York to attend the annual gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly, announced that until Hezbollah does not stop attacking us, we will continue to attack it with full force. Netanyahu said this when American and European officials are trying to stop this new conflict that has started in the Middle East. American officials have advised Israel not to go to war. America is also helping Israel through backdoor
On one hand, America, along with European countries, is urging Israel to stop the ceasefire. On the other hand, it is also giving a huge economic package to Israel for missiles and weapons. Israel has received an $8.7 billion aid package from the US to support its ongoing military efforts and maintain a qualitative military edge in the region, the Israeli Defense Ministry said in a statement on Thursday. Let us tell you that even during the Gaza war, America continued to provide financial assistance to Israel. The Israeli army was accused of a gruesome massacre in Gaza and the killing of innocents, despite this, America was seen trying to persuade Israel for a ceasefire and on the other hand it also continued to help Israel.
Where will American help be used?
The package includes $3.5 billion for essential wartime purchases. The remaining $5.2 billion is earmarked for air defense systems. These include the Iron Dome anti-missile system, David’s Sling and an advanced laser system. Let us tell you that Israel is currently fighting on two fronts, against Hamas in Gaza and against Hezbollah in Lebanon. The Israeli Defense Ministry says the aid further cements the “strong and enduring strategic partnership between Israel and the United States and its steadfast commitment to Israel’s security.”
It is noteworthy that the Israeli army claimed that it killed Hezbollah’s drone commander in an air strike on an apartment building in the suburbs of Beirut. Hezbollah had no immediate comment on Israel’s claim that commander Mohammed Hussein Suroor had been killed.
