Ola Electric is constantly facing difficulties in servicing. Earlier, many customers have vandalized their vehicles or protested in different ways in front of Ola Experience Center. Now a heartbreaking incident has come to light. Actually, in Kalaburagi, Karnataka, a person set fire to Ola’s showroom. A man named Mohammad Nadeem did this because he was not getting proper service for his new electric scooter. Frustrated by this, he set fire to the entire showroom.
Video of the incident surfaced
Actually, Nadeem had bought an electric scooter worth Rs 1.40 lakh a month ago, but after a day or two, it started having problems. He went to the showroom several times, but his problem was not solved. In such a situation, he got angry and set the showroom on fire. The video of this incident is going viral on social media. Earlier, the cause of the fire was believed to be a short circuit. However, after Nadeem’s role in the arson came to light, a complaint was filed against him. Also, he was taken into custody for questioning.
Burned down the showroom by pouring petrol
According to the report, this incident happened on 10th September. Mohammad Nadeem was upset with his new electric scooter. It was malfunctioning repeatedly. He did not get any help even after complaining to the showroom people several times. He had an argument with the customer service officials in the showroom and set the showroom on fire by pouring petrol. 6 vehicles and computer system were burnt to ashes in this fire. Nadeem is a mechanic by profession. He had bought an electric scooter for Rs 1.4 lakh just a month ago. Within 2 days, the battery and sound system of the vehicle started having technical faults.
Loss of about 8.5 lakh rupees
The entire showroom was burnt to ashes due to the fire. Clouds of smoke were seen rising from the shop. The incident has caused a loss of about Rs 8.5 lakh. The police have registered a case and arrested the accused. There were no casualties in this incident, as the showroom was reportedly closed at that time. However, the loss due to the fire is estimated to be around Rs 8.5 lakh.
