New Parliament: The President told the inauguration of the new Parliament House a matter of pride, said- ‘milestone’ in India’s democratic journey

New Delhi. The new Parliament Building has been inaugurated on Sunday by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. After the inauguration of the Parliament House, PM Modi also addressed the MPs and the Chief Ministers of the states in the Lok Sabha House. Before PM Modi’s address, the message of President of India Draupadi Murmu was also read out on behalf of Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh. President Murmu described the new Parliament House as an important milestone in India’s democratic journey.

President Draupadi Murmu welcomed the inauguration of the new Parliament House by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that it is a matter of pride and immense joy for the whole country. The President said in his message that the inauguration of the new Parliament House will be written in golden words in the history of the country.

Describing the Parliament as a guiding light for the country, President Draupadi Murmu said that the new Parliament House is an important milestone in our democratic journey. He said that the occasion of the inauguration of the new Parliament House will be written in golden words in the history of India.

Let us tell that the opposition remained completely away from the inauguration ceremony of the new parliament building. The opposition, especially the Congress and other parties, boycotted the ceremony because PM Narendra Modi himself is inaugurating the new Parliament House instead of the President or the Vice-President. Due to this, the opposition did not participate in the ceremony to express its protest. Before and after the inauguration of the new Parliament House, the opposition is continuously expressing criticism and reaction.
